Kerr, George Farnsworth a resident of Dresden passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Four Counties Health Services, Newbury at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Lois (Sturgis) Kerr. Loving father of: Eugene Kerr of Croton, Jeff Kerr of Dresden, Donna & Richard Snyders of London and Michael & Tina Lyn Kerr of St. Marys. Cherished grandpa of: Robert, Grace, Neil and Liam. Dear brother-in-law of Bill Sturgis of Dresden. He is predeceased by a sister. Jacques, George Richard a resident of Chatham and formerly of Wallaceburg passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Riverview Gardens, Chatham at the age of 83. He was born in Harwich Twp. son of the late Bert and Ellen (Clements) Jacques. He is survived by sisters Reta Kellistine, Marie O’Hara (James), Irene Knight (Donald) and Shirley Carroll.Several nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by brothers James and Alvin Jacques and brother-in-law James Kellistine. At George’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the John C. Badder Funeral Home, Thamesville.

With a strong will to live and determination to overcome his 5 year silent struggle with cancer, we are saddened to announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle – Fredrick “Fred” Welch of Wallaceburg on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the age of 74. Fred was a proud farmer in Sombra Township, a retiree of 42 years from Libby Glass, Wallaceburg. Fred found the joys of life while camping, spectating “coaching” sporting events of his children and grandchildren. He was also a dedicated fan of the Chatham Maroons. Fred’s love of sports will continue as a passion by his family and friends. Born in Florence son of the late Allen and Emily (Grosse) Welch.
