Obituary of Howard Ernest Irwin

Irwin: Howard Ernest, a resident of Dresden passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Park Street Place, Dresden at the age of 85. Born in Chatham Township, son of the late Ernest and Josephine (Files) Irwin. Howard was a member of Tecumseh-Sydenham Masonic Lodge, No. 245, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 113, Dresden and the Oddfellow Lodge # 157, Thamesville. Beloved husband of the late Elda (Houston) Irwin (2013). Loving father of Nancy & Gordon Eagleson of California, Grace & Rick Goetheyn of R.R. 1 Chatham and Frederick & Linda Irwin of R.R 3 Tupperville. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Matthew (Bre), Philip (Jie), Chris (Vicki), Adam (Stephanie) and Katherine and great granddaughters Selene and Kylie. Dear brother-in-law of Audrey Irwin, Marilynn Shaw and Janet Arnold (Ron). Predeceased by brother Roy Irwin and brother-in-law Hilt Shaw. The Irwin family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North Street, Dresden on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
