Obituary of Mary Ann Morgan

Morgan: Mary Ann (nee Fulling) formerly of Thamesville, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at the age of 89. Born in Chatham, daughter of the Late Henry and Orpha (Moore) Fulling. Mary Ann taught elementary school for many years starting her teaching career at Victoria Park Elementary School in Chatham and retiring after many years teaching at Thamesville Area Central School. Beloved wife of the Late George Morgan (2002). Loving mother of Carol Armstrong (Rick), and Betty Liberty (Scott). Proud grandma of Matt (Amy), Tim (Jessica),. Ben (Jess Ann), and Lacey Broad (Ian) and great-grandchildren Edison, Wyatt, Sloan, George, Amelia, and Theodore. Dear sister of Barbara Crowell (Late Alex) and sister-in-law of Frances Sheets (Blake). Predeceased by a sister Betty Rea (Brian), and sisters in-law Mary Morgan, Helen Dickson (Late Lloyd). Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. The Morgan Family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 12:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:30 PM. Cremation will take place.  Interment of cremains in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville at a later date. Memorial donations to the V.O.N. (https://von.ca/en/donate-von) would be appreciated. We would like to give a heartfelt thank-you to  the nurses and doctors at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Wallaceburg and Chatham for the care and support they gave our Mom, and to the caregivers and staff at the Oaks Retirement Resort for the wonderful care she received for the years she stayed there.
